19th Annual Air Quality Governance Lekgotla 

The Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment (DFFE) will host the 19th Annual Air Quality Governance Lekgotla from 29 September to 1 October 2025 at the East London International Convention Centre, under the theme "Driving policy coherence for sustainable pollution reduction."

This key national event provides a platform for all spheres of government to engage on air quality management progress and challenges, and to align on strategic priorities. The Lekgotla includes a closed session for government officials (29 Sept) and multistakeholder open sessions (30 Sept – 1 Oct), including the Air Quality Colloquium on 28 September.
